It has two parts:
Part One: eat healthy, low fat and sugar and a lot of OMEGA 3 foods such as salmon and good fatty acid nuts
Part Two: think about the brain as a muscle, chess helps and any kind of exercise like reading, listening, even thinking
Good luck

Doing crossword puzzles, wordsearches, sudukos, etc. I've heard listening to classical music will do so, but I'm not sure how reliable that is. Study philosophy. That'll do it too.

It's hard to raise your natural IQ. Most of the time, we keep the same IQ pretty much our whole lives. It's not about how smart you are, it's about how you learn, how well you learn certain things, and the strength of your ability to learn. Develop your critical thinking skills, and that'll give you your best shot.

You raise your IQ by testing for stupid IQ tests. My father "raised" his IQ from 116 to 168 this way. (168 would be a great genius)

You get to be good at chess by training and having a good memory. It doesnt raise your IQ. Chess grandmasters have average IQ.

I dont believe in the concept of IQ at all. It favours people of our cultural background and those with math skills.
IQ tests are bullshit; my father proved it by training for them.

Chess helps with logic, it won't necessarily raise your IQ. Try reading books and encyclopedia's, watching informative television programs, etc.

Practice anything that will help you develop reasoning skills. The ability to reason and form logical assumptions and conclusions is paramount to achieving higher intelligence. Chess is OK but I would think "bigger" than that.

I fear to say, you can't. You CAN however use your brain to its maximum potential.

Many things can help. Chess(you got one), Sudoku(I like that one), crossword puzzles, paying attention at school, reading, I'm sure there are more, but I'm at a loss.

YahooAnswers does NOT make you stupid.

Don't watch tv, read books about logic, and solve puzzles, think everything through as if it were a process. The older you are the harder it is to reach that part of your brain.
