I like this guy but he says we're just friends

Steps :)
1. Examine his body language. If he likes you, you will see that his body position will lean forward toward you.
2. Keep close. Ever get the feeling that somebody is "in" your personal space - so much so that you want to step back? If he likes you, and you like him, neither of you will step back.
3. Notice his eye contact. If he likes you, he'll get it and hold it. Again, this can be uncomfortable if you don't like him or vice versa. You'll know if you feel like you have held eye contact just a fraction of a second longer than you would with anyone else, or if he looks away quickly, he may be shy.
4. Be aware of touching. He might put his hand on your arm when he laughs, or not move his leg if it happens to touch yours. This is a very good sign that he likes you.
5. Keep an eye out. His pupils will dilate (get bigger) if he likes you, but this is quite hard to pick up on, and you might look a bit weird looking that closely into his eyes.
6. Watch for him showing interest in things you like and do.
7. Joke freely. Does he laugh, even if you aren't funny?
8. Check for signs of nervousness: nervous laughter, sweaty palms, fidgeting, etc. Unless he's scared of public speaking and is about to make a presentation, it just might be that he's nervous about making an impression on someone he fancies (hopefully you).
9. Smile. A big smile in return probably means the feeling is mutual.
10. See if he always ends up in the same part of the room as you. Perhaps he keeps going out of his way to bump into you.
11. Pay attention to his friends. If they know he's interested in you, they might tease him subtly when you're around, hint to you that he likes you, or even try to find out if you like him. Also study their reactions to your presence. Do they smile? Do they turn to him? If so, then there's a good chance he really does like you. Also if you ask his name... note if he snaps his head right away to listen or does it gradually
12. If the guy wants to talk to you all the time there is a good chance that he will like you!!!!

Well it all depends on how much he invests with you. My husband told me that men and women can be just friends...but then realized during a deployment it is impossible. Needless to say I have always had male friends and felt a sort of possible "what if" and I know talking to him he had as well. There is always that question... If he invests a lot of time into you and you alone, you know that his heart is somewhere else other than just friends.

It's the kind of attention you may get from a guy. He can either stare at you, talk to you, flirt with you, or just want to be next to you. Bottom line is that he has to show interest in you some how.

Maybe he says that becus IF u guys did get together and IF u broke then u maybe wouldn't b friends anymore and he probably wants to b ur friend

My now live in boyfriend of 2 years started off as one of those..."you're just my friend" types.
We were just friend for 3 years....
I really liked him but he just wasnt interested in me that way. I finally just got tired of the mixed signals he was giving me so I just stopped answering his calls and stopped calling him.
Its only then that he realized how much he missed me and we finally got together.

first you look at him for a couple of second until he stare at you then if he smiles or waves lovely then you would recommand him liking you! And if you guys are just friends then be friends............or you can keep chating with him about your feeling!

well.. if he says your friends then... you guys are friends..,.
But if you like him alot and your not for sure if he likes you... have one of his close friends ask him who he likes and if your one of the names then you no if he likes you....

well if i like a girl i try to talk to as often as i can. i try to call her maybe once or twice a week. and also see if you can catch him staring at you. i tend to stare at a girl when i think shes good looking i cant help it lol.
