Honest question, I am not putting down Christianity. But if God created Adam and Eve then how come Paganism was the original belief system of humans?

Yes, Judaism was around before Christianity. Then I rephrase the question to all with Jewish beliefs as well.

Paganism was still around before Judaism.

Boar's heart: I happen to have a pitbull and if you tried to poke her with a stick, she'd look at you like you were crazy and then lick you to death.

Sorry one last edit, like I said, I misspoke. I meant Judaism, I'm just so used to interchanging the words even though they are different. It's a bad habit but I meant Judaism.

Ok, I studied the Bible for 9 years. That is why I asked. I am not attacking the religion, I have nothing but respect for Christianity and Judaism. That is WHY I asked. Read my question before you accuse me of taking cheap shots.

Because the interpreters and teachers of the Book of God failed to see the difference between creation of men (male and female whom God created simultaneously after the animals) in Genesis 1 and the creation of Adam (alone before the animals) in Genesis 2. Paganism and Polytheism existed before Adam and he was created for the purpose of having people after him to believe and practice the Monotheistic faith in One God. A reason why the Jews who descended from him until now are believers of One single God. Christianity took their faith based on the Jewsih religious tradition but their practice was colored with the Roman Paganic past by telling their congregation that there are three persons in One God and they pray to many saints.

Christianity started with Christ.

At the time of Adam & Eve, Christ was still with the Father in Heaven.

Adam did not have to believe in an unseen God; He actually talked and walked with Him.

So, if God was around with the first man, how can you say paganism was the first belief system?

You're falling for the same crap a lot of people are falling for. There's another guy on here asking the same question, and I tell you just like I told him. That's a blatant lie,and you have nothing to substantiate it.Adam and Eve were first.Wait a minute.Have you ever even picked up a bible and read even a word of it?God speaks against pagans many times. You need to do some homework before taking cheap shots.

Throughout the Biblical account of man's history many time men slide into worship of the creation rather than the creator. As I understand Paganism that is just what is worship of creation. Living separated from God the natural man will slide into just that kind of belief system. Jim

And an honest answer you shall get. If you think of the original sin as an act of rebellion against God, as people were born and moved away from that moment, they continued in that rebellion against God. That is essentially what our fallen/sin nature is; a rebellion against God's perfect law. We believe we can do better without Him. Part of that rebellion included setting up other gods in His place. As spiritual creatures, we need some sort of communion with that world. This allows people not in God's will to be influenced by demons and replace God with false gods. Polytheism itself demonstrates the inability of man to replace god a single unit. They needed multitudes of gods/dieties to replace His love and guidance. God knew this would happen and revealed His plan to redeem man from this nature but He allowed us to continue in our own ways ultimately to demonstrate to the other powers of Heaven and hell that He IS perfectly just. "Paganism" (Polytheism and other diety worship and atheism) is allowed to continue as a monument to the dignity God has afforded man in choosing his own path without Divine puppet strings.

The call to Abraham, creation and preservation of the Jewish nation/religion and the martyrdom of Jesus as the perfect blood sacrifice for our rebellion are all specifically timed events so that the universes other powers (powers and principalities of the air) will understand and acknowledge that when He unleashes His final wrath on the earth and the depraved humanity that inhabit it, that wrath will be justified.

I don't know if that will help you. So much of what I describe above is dependent on faith in God to begin with. Without that, it is merely my opinion.

you're actually not any actual apologist, you're taking verses out of context and use them to help your suggestions, whether they actually do no longer propose what you have stated they propose. Exodus 21:17, To curse the father and mom could be an outright rejection of their teachings and the motive to undermine them at each danger. this might have undesirable effects for the full human beings team and so the guy can't be allowed to hazard the full trible of Israel. Revelations 2:23, it incredibly is a metaphor for a manner the church in Thyatira is performing, by utilising sound asleep with the harlot Jezebel. God is asserting that he will do away with all of those and all that they have finished in judgment. II Samuel 12:15-20, A lesson to King David simply by fact he have been proud and believed himself to be above the regulation. God reminded him that he's not. the youngster itself is harmless and could be taken as much as heaven and thank you to this David is able to reconnect with God. The verse approximately eating babies are all on the subject rely of a siege, wherein the youngsters are plenty extra probable to die first and the mother and father will ultimately run out of nutrition. be conscious additionally how God each and each time says how undesirable it incredibly is to ought to try this. God does no longer prefer to yet simply by fact human beings chosen to disobey them it incredibly is one results of their strikes. God is extra "kill happy" interior the previous testomony simply by fact the line of Abraham could be preserved so as that his promise of a savior from the line of Abraham could be fulfilled. He could take severe strikes to make sure that the line isn't corrupted or wiped out. as quickly as Christ got here then that requirement is met and the ought to pass to overwhelming measures to guard the line of Abraham isn't mandatory.

Sorry, but this question is like asking "if oranges are fruit, why is it my dog barks!"
One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. Adam and Eve where not even Christians. Christ showed up 4000 years later.

Because Christianity wasn't around until after the birth, death, and Resurrection of Jesus.

Before people were called Christians or Jews, people were worshiping God and following him, all the way back to Adam and Eve.

Be careful, because you are connecting worship of God as limited by RELIGIONS. Religions (ie, names like Judaism, Christianity, etc.) are simply systems of worship, and names of groups. Judaism started with their ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (who changed his name to Israel). Christianity started with Jesus, who is called "Christ." Those TERMS may not have been around since the beginning, but HUMANS have, and GOD has. God was interacting with humans and humans following God since humans were on earth. What name or religion you call that doesn't matter.
