No you can't.

The name on the ticket has to match the name on the passport or they will turn you away. Sorry but you have to get a new passport. Make sure you get it expedited as normal processing time is 12-15 weeks.

Yeah its a rip off. I travel in my maiden name still after 2 years of marriage because I am not forking out again for a new passport when I have 8 years left on this one.

No, you'll have to change your passport to be in the same name as your tickets. Get a form from the passport office / post office and get the vicar who is marrying you (or the registrar) to sign it now. If you send it off with your passport form, they will issue you with a new passport in your married name which starts on the day you are married. Go to the passport office website for verification

I would phone passport office, i think you may be able to take your marriage certificate and your passport as proof you have got married. I was in same boat but always book in maiden name. May be easier just to get a new passport

In some cases, it is possible to travel if you also bring your marriage certificate with you. However, they have been clamping down in recent years, so I can't guarantee that this is still the case, especially considering you have been married for some time. If you haven't made full payment on your holiday, it may be easier to change your name on your booking to your maiden name. I suggest you contact your travel agent to discuss your options. If you booked online, then contact the airline directly.

If the name on your ticket differs from the name on your passport, then you won't be able to travel.
Think about it. For instance, in the (unlikely) event of an accident, and there are documents strewn about, a ticket is found bearing the name 'AAAAA', and a passport is found bearing the name 'BBBBB', then two people would be sought.

Get your name changed on the ticket. You may have to pay a charge but your ticket and passport name must be identical. The middle name doesn't matter but the rest does.

If the name on the ticket does not match that on your identification, you will not be allowed to board the plane for security reasons. Get a new passport else you won't get on the plane.
