I check the asker's previous questions; you can usually get a sense of how sincere or trollish the person is by their earlier body of work.

A question asks a question.
Outrageous trolling asks nonsensical and biased questions meant to not be answered...but as a rant.
There is no fine line, it is pretty cut and dry.

the two madness and genius are subjective. i do no longer think of they're in any way appropriate, certainly. The craziest human beings i've got ever stated have been a number of the main ignorant and the main sensible human beings in my realm are mature and good and to blame. The confusion comes while the so referred to as genius comes up with a clean thought and the fewer sensible hundreds- being as they're- don't comprehend what's happening so- being as they're- they attack it and doubt it and make contact with the guy loopy....till the assumption bears fruit, then they regulate his label to genius. a real madman (if there incredibly is taken under consideration one of those element) does no longer unavoidably have new suggestions and if he does they have an inclination to take place incoherent and nonsensical. in certainty, the so referred to as genius seems loopy or insane, whilst the madman incredibly is.

Usually if someone is very extreme in their views about a subject, they are trolling for attention. Also those who make statements rather than questions.

waht fine line? there's like a wall in between them!
how do you tell the difference?
trolls are often clones. another way to tell is if they have the faith they mock in their name, yet ask a stupid question that implies hate.

there is no fine line, just some people have a smaller wall

I think the differences are fairly obvious--and the trolls are easy to spot.

It's in the wording
serious questions sound like "Can someone please explain..." Or "I have read/heard that SOME followers of @#$$%^ believe/do..... Is this true?

Trolling sounds like " How come ALL followers of @#$$%^ are so dumb they think...." Or "why do ALL those idiot @#$$%^ make their women.....

Well, if they use insulting words to describe the other side of the issue . . . it's a troll.
