There are many finds that confirm dates, places metioned in the bible are true, but that can't be proof that it is all true. Where is the proof for the Ark, Jonah and the whale, Jesus walking on water to name a few.
(that thing they found in Turkey has been proven not to be the Ark, so don't even think about bringing it up)

sorry, there is none.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

You can't have proof of everything. That's just the way it is. Like it or not, faith has a big roll in our belief in the Bible and in God.

The Bible is considered to be a very good historical book by historians. It is better then the accounts we have of Caesar.

If you read the Bible you will get a sense, that even though we do not have proof for everything, the way it is written, and the things that it says, point to it being factual in many ways.

There has been so much focus on the historical Jesus, and biblical happening and facts, that it's easy to forget that the Bible is the Word of God. These is the only writings that we can say that about. It's not just a book...it is a chronological record of our relationship with our creator and his love and desire for us.

Yes I will agree that this question is asked and answered far to often. Still I really think you want a straight forward answer.
There is no Proof! Why didn't God provide that so we wouldn't be left in so much doubt? Because Salvation come by trusting God having faith in Him. Proof brings knowledge and when there is knowledge faith is not present. Salvation is not available with Knowledge but come to mankind ONLY through faith... Jim

to the sea shells guy, if that is your proof you are an idiot, didn't you learn that the Himalayian range was formed by the Earths crust pushing against each other. At one stage the top of Everest was below the sea.

I guess the proof is in the pudding...

Its true to me because I percieve it to be true and I have faith that it is. Thats what makes it true to me.. It might not be what makes it true to you or other people but thats how I know its true.

The proof is internal. Its proved to me because I believe it to be so. Just as you may believe it isnt so. There is no physical evidence either way so its moot to try to argue the truth of anything because truth is a personal thing.

Its a matter of my perception of reality.

There is none. Some are indeed under the impression that the Bible mentioning some actual places or events makes it all true from god. In that case, every Stephen King book is true because he mentions actual places and events.

Um, just in Daniel's prophecies you should find ample proof of foresight, in detail, that even the anthropologists are befuddled.

it's called faith... there's no way to prove it.
When Jesus was alive, not many people believed in Him, and He even said that it will be hardest for people in the future to believe.
