Do You agree with my Global Warming Sci-Fi Prediction about the USA ?

I have to say sci-fi so when it comes true I can say it was just a guess...

The USA just shut down a weather/Global Warming testing satellite because they now know Global Warming is happening at a MUCH faster rate than expected and they need to hide this fact to the public.

In less than 5 years the world will not even look the same.

ALSO, the President has been acting all weird in the last month because he just saw the light that within just a few months and years Global Warming is going to crush the USA economy. He is trying to to GOOD THINGS like let in the people from Mexico and also propose CO2 limits at the G8 because he knows he will be blamed for ignoring the Global Warming predictions and they are going to happen very soon and the CAN NOT BE STOPPED NOW NO MATTER WHAT WE DO... IT IS TOO LATE.

Sci-Fi Prediction - Complete Global Chaos and Nukes being used within 2 years.

Remember I said Sci-Fi so US gov't please do not send anyone to kill me because I let the cat out to the bag.

That is a good made for TV movie script idea. Lots of excitement, fast action and conflict. I don't think it has anything to do with reality though.

I think reality will be that in 50 years sea levels will be up one inch, temperatures will be up one degree and weather patterns will be little changed. CO2 levels will be way up, gasoline will be $50 a gallon (but average incomes will be a million dollars a year due to inflation), coal and coal derived liquid and gaseous fuels will be more common than petroleum and natural gas, nuclear power will be more widespread but still a minority energy source, and solar and wind will still be less than 1% of world energy production. Fusion will finally be made to work but will be so expensive that it is not widely used. And I say this not as Sci-Fi but as a real prediction.

Well (dontt get me wrong--global warming and its human cause are real and I know it)--but there's twhree problems with your theory:
1) that satellite was due to be shut down anyway (on the other hand, NASA is in a fight to get funds for a replacement).
2) How can you tell the Chimp is "acting wierd?" Thats his normal operating mode! :)
3) Seriously, although the place of warming--and climate change IS accelerating, its not going to induce climate change THAT fast.

Now if you want a more realistic "sci-fi" scenario--think about what's going to happen when the new wave of alternative energy technology AND real public pressure over the growing problems created by climate change really start to hurt the oil and coal companies.

Now THAT has some interesting implications. . . .

BTW the way, the sci in sci-fi stands for science. Like Barnes and Noble, you seem to be fuzzy on the distinction between Sci-fi and Fantasy.

Before I answer, pass me whatever you are smoking. After a few hits from your bowl maybe I'll come up with a wilder fantasy than yours.
We need global warming to save Greenland from the ice that currently enslaves it making it white instead of green. When Greeenland was discovered the earth was warmer than now and Greenland was green. Green is good, so we need global warming.
I ask all who read this to email Nancy Pelosi and ask her to sponsor the Greening of Greenland Global Warming Enhancement Act of 2007. It will call for increased CO2 production so that Greenland will once again be green.
Green is good, and Greenland must be saved from the cold white that now enslaves it.
