British Accent. That's why I'm marrying an Englishman with a very sexy one.

Definitely prefer a British accent over an American! Some American accents are hard to understand. I still cringe listening to actor Hugh Laurie using an American accent for his role as a doctor in the tv show, House. Or, is that all part of the act to be bloody annoying and brilliant at the same time? I still think he's at his best doing British comedy though.
Cheers,

Girls with a British accent sound hot.
However there is a large section of Americans with no accent, most of the west coast doesn't have one. They are the only place without an accent.

there is not any single British accessory. The Northumberland accessory. An accessory and dialect found on the North East border of england AND Scotland (a real British accessory) beats any American, Australian and different British accents.. palms down. it incredibly is a soft yet stylish northern accessory. people who're masters of the English accessory sound much extra psychological than any eton monger. And their use of Norse Anglo-Saxon words supplies the dialect a barbarian like romanticism.

American English is definitely easier to understand, especially when compared to the northern British accents, so I've always found it easier to communicate with the Americans, so I'll say American...

Depends. Which American accent. You've got your southern drawl, which is prefferable to the British accent, then you've got the New York slur, which makes it sound like everyone is dead drunk. Then you've your Midwest, your Western, your Texan, and the West Coast.

I like the Southern US accents like Texas and Georgia. Not too keen on New England, Maine, NY, or New Jersey tho.
In the UK, I like East Coast Scots but not Glaswegian. Geordie is OK as is a Home Counties accent but dont like West Country, Norfolk, Welsh, Cornish, Black Country, and especially hate mockney and Essex.
