You are being a bad parent because
1. You are hustling your very young infant for money
2. You are permanently putting holes in your daughters ears without her permission.
3. You are using your daughter to fulfill your own needs for attention
She is 3 months old for god's sake! Why not let her be a baby and not make her responsible for earning some extra cash? Baby's thrive when their lives are regular and consistent. How will making her a model support her in having a regular schedule? It won't. You seriously need to remember what parenting is all about. It is about protecting and nurturing your child in every moment. You aren't a child and she's not a little dolly for you to dress up and show off. She is a person that deserves respect and consideration just like the rest of us!

bad parent!! No I don't think so. I personally would not get my little girls ears done, I feel like she needs to make that call. When she is older. But that is not a bad parent to want to. As for the modeling... No I don't think you should do that... Let her be a baby with out all the drama.

well you little girl is only 3 months old! there is plenty of time for other things later! you shouldn't get her into modeling at such a young age! there are parents out there that push there kids into doing stupid things that they don't want to do for there own sake. don't get yourkid into modeling! she is not going to like you in the future cuz she will know you pushed her! ask her when she is a LOT older and if she say's no then it's a no! if she say's yes then don't push it to the extremes! don't control her cuz it will backfire on you later in life. for now just enjoy your new baby girl. worrie about other things later. and for those people who say your baby is ugly so what? you no she's not on the inside and that's all that counts! i'm not trying to be rude but i can't stand parents who push there kids at a early age. so just relax and enjoy the time you will have with you baby.

I had my daughters ears pierced on her first birthday and also put her in the local Little Miss pagent at age five (she won) and later won the title of Big Miss. We did it for fun and did enjoy it but I ran into alot of mothers who were obsessed with their daughter's modeling whether the girl wanted to or not. Just keep in mind that alot of agencies make money off of you, not vise versa..Do not pay out any money to any agency that is gonna find her work. I know two people who have done paid modeling jobs and both were approached in public places. Do what makes you, the father, and daughter happy and don't mind what other people think.

I dont think youre being a bad parent I think that the choice of what youre putting your daughter through is just different from what other mothers would choose. I wish my mom would have put me through something like that so maybe I would be skinnier. I dont know. I also doubt your baby is ugly. Thats just not right for a person to say to another. Just remember that when she is older you do need to let her make her own decisions about it. Like you said you were. Each to their own I guess.

First of all, boys and girls don't look much different until they are about 12. So take a breath.
Second, until they are 3 years old babies put everything in their mouths. It isn't recommended pierce babies ears because earrings come loose. Babies may swallow them. Swallowed earrings may damage the esophagus. It's safest to wait a few years.

It's the ear piercing I have a problem with. Don't poke holes in a child. Let her decide for herself when she's old enough.
I'm sure your daughter is beautiful. Good luck with the modeling.

I always wanted to get my daughter's ears pierced young because with my older daughter I wanted and since it is a little painful she was at an age that she recognized pain and it hurt her for longer, so I did my next daughter at a younger age, and 3 months is NOT too young. As for the modeling, if you want to go to all the trouble that that brings, you go for it. You are the one who is raising her and other than your husband you don't need to answer to any of us. Good luck and God Bless.
