I don't know him that long but I can tell when someone is gay. I have known this guy for over 8 months and i'm not the only one who has said that he seems gay. He calls his bestfriend "bff" (w/c from what I know is a term GIRLS use) through texts and demands for his time (cause his friend has a gf now). He even gets mad at him if he doesnt. His friend has been going out with his gf for over 3 months now. Do you think that's gay? When he goes somewhere without him, he texts his bestfriend that it's not fun where he is without him w/o a joke at the end. Do you think that's gay? He hasn't tried to make an effort to hang out with his bestfriend and his gf. Although, this guy who I think is gay has a girlfriend, it doesn't change that he can be possibly gay, right? Well, I have been telling my friend (gf of the guy who i think is gay) not to trip about it. But she says she has instincts that the guy is gay. She doesn't get that feeling about a girl, but she has it with his bf's bestfriend,?

He is my friend, but we're not that close to the extent I can ask him. I told his bestfriend about it and even his friend doesn't have the guts to ask cause he knows his bestfriend will get mad. And I told him, if he's not, he shouldn't trip about it, right?

Er, I got a bit confused reading this question, but I get the general idea so ...

To start with, just because a guy acts sort of feminine doesn't necessarily mean he's gay, and he would probably be very offended if you asked if he was if that is the case. It could just be his character, or maybe there's some sort of insecurity in his life and that's his way of expressing/dealing with it. I can't tell you that, only he can.

If he *is* gay, the chances are he's either not ready to come out or doesn't want people to know at all. He might be confused over the way he feels at the moment - being bisexual myself, I can completely relate to that phase. He probably won't appreciate you just suddenly asking him outright. If you're good enough friends, he'll tell you in his own time.

You need to be sensitive. Just assure him that if there's anything he wants to talk about, you're there for him and you won't judge him. Try and do this subtly! You don't want to freak him out - he'll probably clam up and feel even more reluctant to tell you. Why don't you just try and approach the subject of homosexuality without it being personal and see how he reacts? If he tries too hard to pass it off as irrelevant or wrong then he's probably not ready. Subtly change the subject.

One friend being gay should not affect their friendship with another guy. When I came out to my friends I was terrified they were going to reject me but they were fine (the ones I've told anyway) and just said it was no big deal to them. He's probably scared you won't be his friend anymore. Don't be noticeable about it, but make an effort to be a friend to him - give him advice, do favours, maybe confide in him yourself about things. The more trust you have in your relationship the better.

Good luck hun :)

First of all what difference will the outcome of this question make if you are friends with this person. When you are a true friend to someone you don't care about the material things. Try asking him how he feels about the opposite sex and see what his response is. Maybe he is, and just doesn't know how to approach the subject with you

i think so but pay attention to his mannerism ( how he acts) if he kind of walks and/or talks like a girl then he's gay. even though he has a girlfriend he could be gay. some gays have girls because they cant accept the fact that they are gay or they dont want others to know they are gay

Check out his mannerisms and the way he talks. You say he has a girlfriend. Find someone that knows her well and get that person to ask personal questions of the girlfriend about him.

Can you draw a diagram to go along with this question? Whew. Well from what I could understand yes he sounds gay,and not in a happy way.

If you're so concerned why don't you just ask him. No answer that someone can give you on this thing will be 100% accurate. If you're friends you should be able to talk about this stuff.

~First of all do not confront him about he's sexuality, he will be open to himself when he is ready. But, he really is gay . That only happens with girls because it happend to me i found out that i liked my best guy friend this way. When he confronts you about his sexuality be considerate he is your friend after all , it is a hard step to take in life be supportive!!!
( Get more clues though)

Could be, why not just ask him?
He's the only one who can really tell you.
What's the big deal anyway? Will that stop you from being his friend?
