If you decide he's God, that makes him the ultimate authority.

If you decide he's not God, there is no ultimate authority.

Everyone has to make a decision, even if you haven't, that's still a decision you've made.

-- But it's a decision not to decide. It's not a decision realted to the issue at hand, namely whether Jesus is God.

If he really was god then I suppose it would be a key decision. But I haven't been convinced of that yet.

Have you ever thought about the decision that you made to not believe in Allah or Buddah or Krishna or Apollo? Does it worry you? I suspect not. I feel exactly the same way about my decision to not believe in Jesus.

Interesting question, however.

No. If I decide Jesus is not God, that does NOT mean I believe there is no ultimate authority! Muslims believe that only Allah is the ultimate authority, and that He needs no intercessors. Jews also believe that only God is the ultimate authority, and it is very clear in the Hebrew Bible that God alone is God, and that there is no other, and that God is not a man.

They are hardly denying ultimate authority. They just believe that it rests with the unseen God.

For those who believe in Jesus, then FOR THEM, it is their most significant decision, as it effects their lives so much.

I believe that Jesus is one of many facets of God. And he is not the ultimate authority any more than Krishna or Rama is.

Yes, the greatest decision I have made is accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

He makes all things new.

and how is this based on reality considering that the majority of the population of the Earth is neither Christian or Atheist?

I guess the Billions of Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists and Jews do not exist in your mind.

What about the decision you make about Vishnu?
Do you still need to make that decision?

Wow, that's so insightful.... if you decide or not you've still decided not to decide...... decidedly!

Did your pastor tell you to say that to make yourself sound smarter?

Which makes it easy to see your argument is meaningless.
