no. I don't think that you need to buy something new.. why not borrow from friends. you are going to your boyfriends' brothers wedding. you're going to meet his family.. you probably need to wear something really nice so that you can have a good impression with his family.

Capri pants in any color are really casual - not really wedding attire. Weddings - even casual weddings - are more formal than you would think. Out of respect to the bride and her family (whom I am assuming you don't know well) I would wear your best dress - nothing too outlandish because you don't want to outshine the bride - but wear something nice - like if you were going to a major business meeting.
If your best dress is bare shouldered - then do wear a light jacket over the top.
OH and exposed underwear straps etc.? No. Too casual. Again, dress conservatively - like you would if you have to attend a meeting with the president of your work.

If you have a dress than it's preferable or a skirt with a top maybe. Unless this wedding is a beach wedding or a very casual one I will not suggest wearing a capri. Good luck.

No, you cant wear capris at all. A wedding, no matter how informal is still a nice occasion and you should dress up, that means skirt or dress or a nice pants suit (for a morning or afternoon weddng). Sorry, no capris.

dont listen to the people saying to go out and buy something to wear...you shouldnt have to buy anything at all. they should be happy with your company at the wedding. any bride who would care what her guests are wearing is pathetic. I had a friend wear hot pink capris to my wedding...I didnt care I was just glad she came and had a good time. you can dress up a pair of white capris easily. wear a nice dressy shirt or tank or haulter or whatever you had in mind and some strappy sandles.

If the bride is wearing white, then NO. Noone, guests or wedding party, should wear the same color as the bride. That's what Miss Manners and Emily Post say.

Capris are only appropriate if it is an outside or beach wedding. Slacks are okay or a simple dress. Neither of which will cost much.

generally, the rule is to stay away from anything white.. white belongs to the bride that day.. i would suggest searching for something else.. summer weddings especially in the daytime, you dont need anything fancy.. a nice sundress would do the trick.. keep in mind also that attire is different depending if its a day or evening wedding.. day is a little more "casual" where as night is more formal and you would go with the longer length dress!

Capris, no matter what color they are, are not appropriate for a wedding. You need to invest in or borrow something classier from a friend or family member.

Its funny you ask . My brother got married recently and my other brothers girlfriend wore white capris and you could see right threw them and everyone was talking about how bad she looked and how slutty and wrong it was. I mean if you cant see threw them then it might be okay but i wouldnt reccommend it..try forever 21 they have fairly cheap cute things you could pull off for a wedding.
