I think there probably is. You can pay tithing directly to Salt Lake, I know people who have done that, rather than fill out the donation slips and pay in their ward. I know a guy who pays stock options for tithing too, directly to Salt Lake. So there has to be a way..

no. you have to fill out the slip for your records. what you could do if it's a using the money if it's sitting there issue, is have the ammount taken out of your account each week to go to another account and then at the end of the month or the beginning of the month, write a check for the ammount from that bank account. That way you don't have to remember ever week or two, and you aren't tempted to spend the money. The money will already be withdrawn. And that transfer of money from one account to another can be done online.

No. The LDS does not do this. You need to pay it in person to a member of the Bishopric of your ward or branch. The tithing is always donated in person. You watch it go to the "Lord's anointed" for the proper handling of those sacred funds.

I'm not sure, but, I don't think so. You have to fill out a slip so they know what areas you are contributing to.
If there was a way, my guess would be to have it sent to the Bishops address found on the envelope to the attention of your ward or the Church.
