dushi, I not only vacation there...I bought a house, yesterday. I can't wait to become a part of the Aruban family. The Aruban people live in such a close knit way, friends become family in no time. Thank you to all th Aruban people for allowing me to be a part of your wonderful community.

aruba has wonderful water sports available. the weather is hot and the water clear and cool enough to refresh after laying a bit in the sun. snorkeling is fabulous. my mom was born in aruba and i went to visit with her once. nice.
the coconut plantations were a bit disappointing. it seems everything is imported to aruba now so that was a bit disappointing to not be able to get anything that was "native" to aruba to experience. it was fun to do so off-roading up at the to of the island.
the pirate ship where you drink all day and swing off the boat using a rope was fun. i didn't try the banana boat but it looked fun too.
resort we stayed at was okay - it was a timeshare. we should have spent the money for a nicer resort. it was ok (i.e. clean) - but could have been nicer.

Aruba is one of the ugliest islands in the Carribean/South Atlantic. It's only real attraction is the coral reefs. As the Old Dutchman said, "When God created Aruba he made it upside down."

Tell us where Natalee is and I'll come back, spend money in the casinos, buy trinkets downtown, go horseback riding on the beach, say a prayer and light a candle in the grotto on the side of the hill. Until then, my vacation dollars will be spent in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

January is the 'on season' for tremendously much all tropical islands, so regrettably it is going to likely be very complicated in gettting an low-value holiday for one week. i be attentive to this would not help you at the instant, yet basically for the destiny: Plan your holiday trips on the tip of October and the 1st 2 weeks of Nov. Its the main inexpensive time of the 365 days for the Carribean. Now, that being pronounced, you may desire to continually attempt some place close to to you on the Yucatan (spell verify) peninsula in Mexico. I pay attention that have various small, out of ways motels and hotels that are quite romantic and tremendously low-value. attempt to stay removed from any considerable lodge chains (Sandals, etc) because of the fact they gained't be much less costly appropriate now. it is quite useful to analyze on the holiday community, I undergo in ideas seeing a definite on the ten maximum much less costly hotels and there have been some in Mexico. in case you desperate to do the Carribean, the suited thank you to get all you funds's well worth is to do all-inclusive kit. make confident, besides the fact that which you examine each and all of the high quality print, because of the fact all-inclusive would not continually mean each thing inclusive. Mine for occasion once I went to jamaica secure each thing from lodge to nutrition to maximum alcoholic beverages secure, plus some loose water activities. you basically could desire to analyze. stable success!

I spent almost 2 weeks in Aruba on my honeymoon and it was by far the nicest of any of the vacation spots I have been to. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

I have been there twice. A few years ago we flew down for a five day stay and just a couple weeks ago we stopped there on our cruise. I love the island because it has great beaches, nice hotels, casinos, and a good selection of restaurants. Its a great place for chilling.
