Any diet ideas?
I'm 5''3 and overweight for my height. I gained some weight in the past year because of birth control so yay for me! Anyway, I'd like to lose about 20 lbs. Now, realistically I know I can't lose that much in a month unless I starved myself... However, I think that 2 months is a good time length to accomplish this goal.. My problem is that I've googled things like "healthy meal plans" or "lose 20 pounds" and the only things I find require signing up and paying fees.. I really would just like a list of things to eat.. how long I should work out, how many days out of the week, etc...

I don't want simple answers like "drink water" or "run a lot" or "don't eat junk.. "

I need a detailed diet.

Help!

Even though you said you dont wanna hear it. Water is one of the biggest elements to it. I recently lost 94lbs in just about 8 months. the first 30lbs were gone in 3 months. this is what i did. keep in mine everyone is different and results for everyone on diff. NO LIQUIDS BUT WATER.....try and drink about a gallon a day. CHICKEN
If you want to cheat and not take the safe way out if you eat just 500 calories a day for a week and you'll lose 10lbs a week. THIS IS NOT SAFE and it will do more damage in the long run because your body will start storeing everything as fat rather than burn everything for energy. anyway thats all i got for ya. GOOD LUCK and let me know how it turns out!!!

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Forget diets and forget losing it in two months. No one can give you a diet unless they know what you eat.

Try to lose 2-3 pounds a months and it will have a better chance of it staying off. In less than a year you'll be at your target.

do your best to eat only organic food! i know that we can't do this all of the time but stay away from processed food such as diet bars and slim fast (that stuff is poison anyway)!! shop the perimeter of the supermarket which is where the fresh produce and meat departments usually are. the stuff in the middle of the store is the more processed junk that is bad for you. walk on your lunch break even if it is just around the building you work in (that's what i do).
overall, the more chemicals you remove from your diet, the more of a chance your body has to bring itself back to its optimal weight. just remember that your body wants to be in peak condition and our current food supply is sabotaging our bodies ability to maintain proper balance.
I recommend Kevin Trudeau's book "The Weight Loss Cure"!
I read it and am honestly unable to do its protocol for weight loss to the letter but using it as a resource for what I eat has proven priceless. just check it out! good luck!
