I'm having trouble finding information on the internet such as: how long do you have to go to school for this?
What is required to get hired as one?
Can you work in the field while getting education or do you have to wait until you graduate?

If anybody out there has any knowledge about this please let me know. Thanks !

A radiologist is a doctor who earns a four-year doctoral degree to become an M.D. (medical doctor) or D.O. (doctor of osteopathy), and then completes a four-year residency in diagnostic radiology or radiation oncology.

If you are talking about being an x-ray tech, the term is radiologic technologist. School is 2 years. You can find info here:

Go to college, take a pre-med course. 4 yrs.
Medical School. 4 yrs.
Residency training. 3 yrs (at least).

You could take a course like xray tech or something and work for a while, but I don't think you'll be able to work much in medical school.
