we are moving into a our home from the apartment building. Our landlord are really people and have supported us during our stay. They are my parent's age and are really concerned and helpful. I want to write them a real nice thank you note. What shall I write?

Just tell your landlord how grateful you were as a tenant and you will miss them. You can invite them to your housewarming party and invite them to future activities, i.e. Memorial Day/labor Day grill outs, kid's parties, etc. They were like family to you, so invite them like family. Your kindness to them will be thanks enough for them.

You can never go wrong saying how you feel...and they will appreciate your honesty and thoughtfulness...
Kudos to your Mom/Dad/Guardian...for raising someone who is so socially mature!
