my dad loves cooking and, for his birthday, I would like to send him on a cooking course. I think some of the top chefs do residential courses but can't find any info - can any one help?

Rick Stein does a great course in Padstow - has his own hotel to go with it!

I believe Meritage resort in Napa offers cooking classes. It's hit or miss when they hold them though. Or just send him to Napa in general and they have everything from restaurants to the CIA offering cooking classes.
