IF they start when the computer is turned on (before you start IE) then they are not embedded into IE.

Start > Run > type in: msconfig
Go to the startup tab
You will see a list of all the programs being loaded during startup. See if any of the ones you want to get rid of are in there. Uncheck them to keep them from loading. Look at the directory information to see where they are located on your computer for deleting purposes.

If you still can not find them, list the programs, and someone may be able to help with some or all of them. Each program is different.

somr programs purposily make it tricky for you to un-install them and hide their uninstallers.

tools > scroll thru the list , find what you want.. run uninstaller. hopefully they are listed. if they aren't listed try changing the tab on the left to "startup" and see if they are listed there =)
