I'm a guy to begin with but is there anyway of me excercising at the gym without gaining strecth marks... The ones i have are quite faint and its like a few lines... But it's still there, i'm only 15 and i think its odd getting stretch marks already. I did excercise pretty hard those times, but nothing EXTREME.

Also my family has a history of big bones mainly with the hips, my brother and sister have it and i need to excerise to prevent having a large "Fat" bum, at the moment i'm normal, but i'll get a fat behind if i don't exercise... But i don't wanna get stretch marks in the process... Rather complicated but what do i do?

Ok I'm fourteen. In the beginning when i had started working out i began to get stretch marks all over. This happens if you lose weight suddenly or gain weight suddenly.Youre family does sound pretty interesting.BTW guys dont USUALLY get 'fat butts' .if you want the stretch marks to go away i guess you could massage the areas with some oil(well that worked for me) or you could apply cocoa butter cream(you get them in the super market) But let me tell you if you're the impatient kinda guy this won't give you much results.

Be nice and give me the best answer.i honestly didn't know that guys of my age(or around my age) worried about stretch marks.

Once you get settled into an excercise routine on a regular basis, the stretch marks won't be an issue. I'm not exactly sure what routine you are doing, but you might get better results in doing a 30min targeted weight lift round and 30min aerobics rather than 2hour marathon session. Next year, see if your school has weight training instead of normal PE and talk with the coach. He can help you develop a workable routine.

Otherwise, if you're a member at a club, the trainers there often can give free advice. One thing to remember is to rotate muscles groups you're working on and be varied on your method. Mix in high weights low reps with low weight high reps. Again, coach/trainers are going to be able to help you more with defining your goals and routine to acheive them.

1] eat a quality diet, and avoid fried, fast, and junk food - even diet junk food
2] drink about 1/2 gallon of water a day
3] take a good multivitamin with minerals every day - a little bit of an element can make a big difference in your hair, skin,
etc.
I had two babies, and didn't have any stretch marks until I gained over 40 pounds.

To fade the stretch marks, use cocoa butter like Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula.
To prevent them, make sure your skin is moisturized. If not, it isn't as elastic and will have a tendency to stretch. Put lotion on before you go to the gym.

unfortunatly if you lose weight or inches you get stretch marks, but they do go away in time. but if you gain weight and have stretch marks, then you are stuck with them for a little while. just use alot of cocoa butter because that is the only known thing to fade them, but if you got them from working out, then they will eventually go away.
