I was an Army recruiter for 3 years and as stated before you have basically 2 options. Go get your GED or obtain 15 college credits. Either way there is no quick fix.

Also you must take the ASVAB and strive to obtain at least a 50 QT score if you are to qualify for any decent jobs.

Of the 2 options I would choose the 15 college credits because if you get these and score above a 50 QT on the Asvab then you are entitled to the same options a High school graduate gets (i.e) enlistment bonuses, station of choice, Army College fund.

You need to go to High School & FINISH IT. Don't be a low life & a drop out. I'm sure you need a High School Diploma or a GED to get into the Military.

Pretty sure you are going to have to at least get your GED. I know there was talks about letting people in without GED or High Diploma but I don't think it actaully happened. Call you local recruiter but I htink he or she will tell you the same thing. Must have GED or diploma.

If you have a GED you will be considered to be a 'low quality applicant.' The US Army is allowed to accept 1 'low quality applicant for every 19 'high quality applicants.'

If you get lucky and get accepted, there will be a limited job selection and no re-enlistment bonuses.

The best thing you can do would be to go to your local community college. Complete one semester of 'college-level' classes and you will be considered to be a 'high quality applicant' even with a GED.
