Correct. Both of them cannot be right.
It is possible they are both wrong, there being no God at all.
Or there being lots of local or limited gods, to cover almost all possibilities.
No more can the Earth be "flat" or "round" according to belief,
and to claim all views equally valid, or personally true, is a nonsense. They may be held, believed, but that doesn't make them true.
But not even confident belief (as some have already expressed) settles the issue.
It is quite possible to be utterly certain and utterly wrong.
"I didn't think it was loaded" is one of the simplest examples of reality drastically overruling someone's firm belief.

What I believe is a bit of a combination of those two statements. Since I believe that Jesus is the son of God, I do believe that following his teachings and whatnot is the "easiest" path to God, as well as a sure thing. (If one follows it with love for self and others, etc.)
BUT...
Jesus was a Jew. He did NOT set out to start a new religion and, according to scripture, he had little use for hypocritic religious people. (God knows there are still plenty of them around.) Also, since I believe in an all-loving, all-merciful God and I believe that the Holy Spirit is what some people might call "the spirit of good in the world," then I do believe that there are paths to salvation that don't involve Christianity.
Jesus can lead you to eternal life. It doesn't mean that the rest are necessarily left behind, but maybe that their guide(s) aren't quite as good at the job. (And forgive the poor analogy; I mean no offense to any other religion.)

Actually, God is very specific about how He wants to be perceived, which is why He has provided us with the Bible.
Also, since God's kingdom will be established here on Earth, and Jesus will rule as King of kings on Earth, the idea of eternal life in Heaven is questionable. Furthermore, the offer of eternal life was to the Isrealites first and then to the Gentiles, based on Jesus' death and his resurrection, as the first born of the resurrection.
Both of these young ladies are confused.

Technically, they COULD both be right. If the first person ONLY said, "Jesus Christ can give you eternal life in Heaven," (which I doubt), she did not logically exclude the possibility of other paths to "heaven". Most people who speak in that way do exclude non-Jesus routes to salvation, but you did not explicitly link this attitude to her.
There is also the possibility that they could BOTH be wrong. Neither opinion can be empirically verified.

Believe the student at graduation, because Christ said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father God except by me." Only Jesus Christ offers the free gift of Salvation and eternal life in heaven. Jesus Christ is God.
The principal was wrong. The young lady was not afraid to stand up and tell you about her God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She was brave and full of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Far greater qualities than the principal possessed.

The first girl said Jesus "can" give you eternal life. In order to receive eternal life, one must receive Him as Lord and Savior. No one can get to God or heaven without Jesus. She is right, her principal is wrong, ignorant and arrogant.
The second girl is wrong.

They are opposing statements and obviously can't both be true.
The second 'speaker' (me) doesn't believe that Jesus is god. There are religions other than Christianity.

The main difference I see is that the first is given as a statement of fact. The second is given as an opinion.
The first statement, as given, does not say who Jesus will give eternal life to, so it is quite possible that both statements are true.
Possible doe not mean true or even probable.

Christians believe that Jesus is the only way but he is not scientist said universe is 15 billion years old then why send someone only 2000 years ago and almost every animal and human have more than one child then why should almighty god have only one and there is only one god and no one is equal to him but Jesus said "I and my father are one" this means either Jesus is a liar or none of them are god

You can have it as many ways as you want. All religious beliefs are opinion and nothing more.
Point being that NO religion is fact. Facts need proof and there is no proof for religious beliefs. They are all opinion no matter what the zealots say.
