I would just like to know if you think we are in the last days??? i do believe we are, and i posted a question earlier asking "end of world 2007"? because i keep having these feelings that it will be the end of this year.....because of all the things going on right now, and the government is already thinking about taking the "in god we trust" words off of money....and i know once the government says that there will be no more preaching and we need to close all churches, then armageddon will come. Arent we just about there?????

i dont know why if you are not a jehovah's witness you are answering a question that doesnt pertain to you, you just want to criticize what there beliefs are and answer just to get points. I asked the question "Any jehovah's witnesses?"" and i get answers that are not from the people i wanna hear it from. So please if you are not a Jehovah's witness please dont criticize. thank you.

We are in the last days...and i have noticed that in alot of the watchtowers and awakes...and other publications...not only does the faithful and discreet slave refer to us living in the last days...but now they use the phrase alot...the last hour...showing how we are really right around the corner from the Great Tribulation/Armageddon....and remember the signs that Jesus foretold in Matthew ch.24, Luke 21, and then 2 Timothy 3:1-5....That is why it is important to keep up not only with our personal study but we also need to pay attention to events that are taking place throughout the world...because the may be in fulfillment of Bible prophecy...but remember again...it may seem so close like it may even take place this year...but keep in mind...nobody knows the day nor the hour...not the angels...or even Jesus Christ...only Jehovah does...so we must trust in Jehovah fully...serve him whole hearted and with our whole soul...be truely devoted to him....because...it we never know when it may occur...it may seem like it would right now...but who knows? it may be another 10 years...10 months...or tomorrow...so just keep on serving Jehovah faithfully...and he will deliver us....

Well no one knows the day or hour, not even Jesus, but we do know the signs of the last days, which we are definately living in today.

It is important to keep awake to the events happening, just think each day, it's one day closer.

I don't know about Kingdom Hall's in Glendale. I almost married a guy from Glendale, but I lived in New Mexico at the time and only went to his assembly. I'm sure if you look in the phone book, all the Hall's will be listed.

There are signs everywhere. And as Jesus pointed out when you see "all" of these things you will know it is near. Just like the fig tree putting out it's leaves..
There have been some speculations according to the doomsday clock that we are about there.
But no man nor angel neither Jesus can tell you when.
God has a few things he is waiting for.
I will name a few.
** This good news will be preached to people of all the nations and then the end will come.
** when Gog of Magog gets hooked in the jaw for attacking the anointed.
** when Babylon the great is 'destroyed'
**when they are crying peace and security then the end will come.

It will be like the pangs of distress on a pregnant woman..once it starts it will not stop until it is over

But I can give you some ease of mind...if you are one of God's servants he tells us to stand back and watch the glory of Jehovah. This will be the invisible fight between Jesus and his armies and Satan and his armies.
We already know that Jesus will win. And that not a hair on our heads will be harmed.
But everyone alive will feel the effects.

Just as in Moses day the Israelites did suffer through most of the plagues...so too in our day...we will be affected by wars, reports of wars, food shortages, pestilence, earthquakes, the weather phenomenon, and when the government turns on religion.

Take the steps now to prepare for the coming events. They will never be repeated.

(Luke 21:1) Now as he looked up he saw the rich dropping their gifts into the treasury chests.

(Luke 21:25-26) “Also, there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth anguish of nations, not knowing the way out because of the roaring of the sea and [its] agitation, 26 while men become faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

(Matthew 24:7) “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another.

(Matthew 24:9) “Then people will deliver YOU up to tribulation and will kill YOU, and YOU will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name.

(Matthew 24:11-12) And many false prophets will arise and mislead many; 12 and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off.

(Matthew 24:14) And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

Luke 21:31, 32: “When you see these things occurring, know that the kingdom of God is near [that is, the time when it will destroy the present wicked world and itself take full charge of earth’s affairs]. Truly I say to you, This generation will by no means pass away until all things occur.”

(The “generation” that was alive at the beginning of fulfillment of the sign in 1914 is now well along in years. The time remaining must be very short. World conditions give every indication that this is the case.)

we are not only living in the last days of this old system, we are living in the last hours.Time is short. soon Jesus will bust a move on Satan at the great day of Jehovah. On that day woe to the wicked inhabitants of this old system of things that is currently being ruled by Satan and his demons. Its no use trying to pinpoint when it will happen because even Jesus did not know! The disciples ask Jesus when will these things happen and Jesus told them,No one knows but the Father who is in heaven. You can tell we are getting closer because of what Jesus said about storms and earthquakes and homosexual marriages, and wickedness, along with wars and rumors of wars. Are you ready? Ask Jehovah's Witnesses if any of them are scared or worried about Armageddon and you know what they will say? No they are not scared or frightened,in fact when the end comes they will be ecstatic! Satan and his crew will be tossed, peace will return to the earth, health, happiness, life, will be like we never known before.Won't that be wonderful?

Yes I definitely believe we are in the last days. Look around, no one can deny how bad this world has become. Even twenty years ago things weren't as bad as they are today. Looking into the Bible is the best thing you can do. Jehovah's time is coming and we want to be prepared spiritually.

At Second Timothy chapter three, verse one, the Bible explains: “Know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here.” Also, at Second Peter chapter three, verses three and four, the Bible says: “For you know this first, that in the last days there will come ridiculers with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires and saying: ‘Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep in death, all things are continuing exactly as from creation’s beginning.’”

The “last days” here spoken of in the Bible are obviously an important period in history that would be marked by unusual distress, yes, “critical times hard to deal with.” Yet, the Bible shows that, in spite of the evidence that the “last days” were at hand, people would not believe it. Instead, they would ridicule: ‘Where is this promised presence of God? It will not come in our day. All things are continuing as they always have been.’

Jesus Christ also spoke unmistakably about the “last days.” When he was on earth his disciples approached him privately and asked: “Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” (Matt. 24:3, King James Version) Or, as a modern translation more accurately renders the latter question: “What will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?” (New World Translation) By his answer Jesus showed that his second “presence” and “the conclusion of the system of things,” or “end of the world,” would involve a period of time. This time period corresponds with what the Bible also calls the “last days.”
