Well the country was founded on Christian principles and they are going to try and get that off the money

Because! It's obvious ALL atheists are BROKE and have never SEEN the money.

In all fairness, the fact that it's printed on the money doesn't make it true -- especially for our nation. The simplest answer is, obviously, they disagree with the US Mint.

As Christians, we should probably find better evidence of God's existence than US currency... especially since Jesus, himself, noted the distinction between that which is God's and that which is the government's.

If someone at the mint were to switch the plates and thousands of bills were produced that read "In Horus We Trust," would that prove the existence of the Egyptian god Horus?

There is no evidence of the existence of any gods, including the Abrahamic deity generally known as God or Jehovah. That people believe that gods exist is only proof that people believe, not that their beliefs are true.

What on earth are you talking about.

Do you really think something as important as a persons philosophy of life is going to be determined by something scrawled on money?

Gee whiz its printed on money so it must mean god is real.

Take a look at whats left of the US Constitution if you want to see some truth. Do a before Bush and after Bush. You might learn something..

Because it spends the same if it says "in the random act of a 747 assembling itself because it came from a monkey we trust"But you do bring up a good point, how the supposedly repressed Christians force atheists to use their money or they can't buy, sell,or trade...hmmmm,now if I was a religious nut,I could use that to prove that "god" is actually"the beast" since we cannot buy, sell,or trade without taking his mark. That would make Christians destined for the lake of fire as they like "the mark"..Not a very good argument. I wouldn't go there

The fact that "In God We Trust" is printed upon American money proves that god exists?? Amazing! Have you visited the Creation Museum yet?

They feel their is non proof that any supernatural being does exist.

As for money, the "In God We Trust" is there due to the fact the the Founding Fathers of this country believed in God's existence. They were not concerned with whether others believed as they did.

Aetheists, however, can not prove that God does not exist any more than I can prove that God does exist. This standstill wil continue until something dramatic and supernatural decides the truth here.

It does not say, " In God the Atheists trust ". Because something is in print or engraved on currency does not constitute proof of anything.

And on that currency is the Eye of Ra. So now, which God are we referring to here?

Well I live in Canada, and we dont have that nonsense written on our money, because we are multicultural and accept all relationships and don't expect people to conform to a certain belief.
