You may want him tested for Parvo. Is he eating?

The fact that he had dirreaha and there was blood in it could be a very bad sign. It could mean the puppy has parvo and if that is the case it is in the puppies best interest to get him to a vet immedaitely. The longer a delay in getting him to the vet the less likely he will survive. If the puppy is still energetic and playful then most likely it is not parvo but if he seems to have lost all his energy and just wants to lay around I would get him to a vet and ask to have a parvo test done.

I agree with what everyone else has said. It's always best to check with a vet. Since you have also have cats make sure that your Yorkie isn't eating the cat's food. Cats can eat dog food ocassionally without a problem but dogs shouldn't eat cat food. I also have a Yorkie and wouldn't part with him for anything. Good luck with your pup.

It could be coccidiosis.

This occurs when puppies are stressed from changing homes etc.

If left untreated it can lead to dehydration and death. Watch him closely. He could pull out of it on his own but if he starts acting weak and tired or isnt drinking enough you need to take him to the vet. It shouldnt be expensive to treat. If it is find another vet because this is common inexpensive problem.

I hate to say it but he needs to get to teh vets> it could be worms and needs to be treated also could be parvo not something to fool around with, could be very deadly.
I don't know why your parents should get upset.first Yorkies are very expensive dogs and owning cat tehy should know that pets need care. At 9 weeks he should be about due for shots, they should get shots at 6,9 and 12 weeks and then rabies at 4 months. then get fixed at 6 months and pets cost money some times they get very expensive.

Yorkie is a very unique special breed, delicate and very expensive too.... maybe the food you giving him is not doing good to him...don't give him milk or chocolate...just puppy food for now and have lots of water, clean water....he got his shots already? what about worms? My recommendation is to take the puppy to the vet ASAP...your puppy might be sick already...some Yorkies are born with liver, pancreas problems and they can die if precaution is not taken fast....you love your puppy and your puppy loves you and needs you...don't let him suffer and don't worry about your mom, she will understand and believe me, you and your mom don't want that puppy to get worse in health or die....keep me posted please....hug to the puppy
P.S. I have a Yorkie myself...check the site I'm sending you

i have a yorkie pup too!!!!!! she is fine though...

maybe it is the food your giving him but you have to take him to the vet because if you dont he could have major internal problems and need them taken care of right away

my advice is change his food and sry but you have to take him to the vet!!!!

Has he been wormed and had his shots? If not then you need to take him to the vet.
