I have bought tons of clothes there for my daughter. She is naturally small so I always have to go a size small for the bottoms. Now my son is the opposite. He is 8 months and has been wearing 6-12 months for awhile. I measured him and he is 27 inches long. I am trying to figure out what size top to get him. I am looking in the kid section, not the newborn. Right now he wears 6-12mos tops from old navy. But if I get him a onesie or a one piece outfit I have to get 12-18 mos cuz he is long in the torso. So my question is after this novel.... Do you think I should get 6-12mos top or 12-18mos. It is just summer clothes. I am doing it over the internet so thats why I'm asking...
Thanks!

DEFINATELY order a size up!

He won't quit growing like that until he's past his first birthday. And, if you buy him a 6-12 he'll likely outgrow it before the season is over.

My son is the same way. I always buy everything a size bigger or I'm buying seasonal clothes TWICE!! Ouch! That also goes for winter coats...I bought two sizes up (accounting for winter dress like double layers and sweaters).

Definitely get the 12 to 18 month. It won't be too big and he'll have some growing room! Maybe it'll last 2 months instead of just one. lol.

Their stuff runs small. Always go up a size from what you think he will be at the time or if you are buying them for now, get the size above what he is now. Check out childrensplace.com too. They have great stuff and it's usually on sale online way before and for way less than in the store at the mall.

I think gymboree has alway ran large in tops. At least 1 size, even more sometimes.
