Yes, and he made a joke about it.

The questioner was asking him how he felt about a Priest's comments that he was going against his party and upbringing in his support of abortion. Right when he was opening his mouth, the lightning hit and the lights flashed off in the studio for a second.

He then said something like "For someone who has been a parishioner (church-goer) his whole life, it's a little scary what's happening right now." The audience and questioner laughed, and he chuckled semi-nervously.

That's what the moderator claimed on the video stream I saw.

That's right, he made a joke about it and hit happened twice more before he was done.

Interesting... could be coincidence or maybe not...

However, the actor playing Jesus in Passion of the Christ WAS hit by lightning on the cross.

LOL yeah it really did. It was funny. But they were having issues with it all night. Not just at that second.
