Written by very sexist men, too, who state explicity that women are inferior.

The usual response by a Christian apologist is that husbands are told to love their wives, but that's not enough. I can love my pet, but I don't want to be treated like one. I am the equal of any man.

No woman wants to be told she is to submit to her husband or that men are superior.

It is extremely dangerous to NOT take it at face value. It was written by men but also with the Finger of God.

Written by men under the Influence of the Holy Spirit.

2 Tim: 3;16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Ohh, I know, you are going to say that that is written by men too..yes yes yes and all that, yes I have heard that before.

Ok Then, so why do you place such credibility in Evolution ? is it because "They" say it is Scientifically proven?
Really? How do you know that? men did write that, men did do the research, do you take that at face value?
Why?
Is it because you WANT to believe it, because it makes you feel "comfortable"

There is a large and growing number of former evolutionary scientist that have come over to creation science, why do you think that is?
Is it they stumbled onto something that they were not supposed to find about the fabrications in evolution. ummm

You need to read the passages to grasp the meaning, and apply your intelligence. You can get help from believers. Also if you pray to God He will show that it is indeed His truth.

The text was written by men, but the Spirit of the Living God is the source. The words were written to save you out of false religions and philosophies, so you can be forgiven your sins and go to heaven.

It is written that all scripture is written by Godly men moved by the Holy Spirit. Don't forget the Godly & the Holy Spirit.

So, it is 'only' extremely dangerous to the devil & his followers.

I think the O.T. would be worse to take at face value.

You're right though, and all this "Holy Spirit" nonsense is pretty ridiculous when you consider all the people here that claim to have the Holy Spirit and yet can barely read and write.

Those men tell us they were guided by God himself.
"For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit." 2Peter 1:21
So, there is a chance that if you reject it, you're rejecting what God is trying to tell you.
Its best to put it to the test. Find out.
JW's are good at that.

Of course it was written by men. Men who were inspired by the holy spirit of God.

By the way, there is a way you can come to know this for sure: take some time and read the bible!

Yeah, it's a bit mental. I bet there was a disclaimer or something at the end of the bible saying it was all fiction and not to be taken seriously, but it got ripped it out.
