I'm positive that Albertson has it. At least the one in front of my apt building does. But it's not a Saran, but made by Reynold Wraps. They have red and green. Dunnow about other color.

That's where I've bought mine -- at Albertsons, BUT they may only stock it around the holidays (November/December). Call a bunch of grocery stores and find out if they are carrying it, now.

Acme and most major grocery stores carry the colored plasitc wraps. Look for them near the clear wraps and aluminum foil.

The prepackaged sparkling pink meat interior the warmth sealed tubs (changed atmosphere packaging) have carbon monoxide (CO) as an inerting gas which reasons the beef to show a brighter pink and supposedly make the beef final as long as 20 days on the shelf. uncooked meat, while uncovered to oxygen, will immediately turn brown through oxidation of the iron interior the hemoglobin. In different words, the iron turns to rust. The CO binds with the iron yet does oxidize it as rapid.
