We finally found a house to rent. It took them two months to clean out the garage
We were told AFTER we moved in that the other side of the yard is not ours until they clean it up.I did the yard because the weeds were up to 4 feet tall..It took me 13 hours to get it down..they said they always let the tenents do what they want with that side. They put a pile of trash in the corner that has been covered so long that the weeds grew over it and the tarp has disinigrated. The old oven is behind the garage along with mounds of garbage they added to it after they cleaned the garage.Cement blocks from his trial and error all over.Wood bords.
When they do show up they are here they arrive at 4:30 in the afternoon like clock work,Then they do not leave until very very late at night usually 11:00.We feel so invaded. We see them more then we see our own parents..How can I express to them with out getting kicked out to get the trailor out as well as to come during regular hours.. HELP

You do have rights.. Check your renters rights in your area.. in the google search simply put in Renters rights and the town you live in.. But you do need a 24 hour notice of entry on to the property even if they still are occupying the other half. It is not in your agreement then you do not have to comply..They do have to show up during normal business hours..unless of course it is an emergency.. such as a pluming water main breaks..then they need to give you not notice..But they have to conduct their "business" during normal business hours and are not allowed by law to invade on your time.. They do have to get the tailor out of the yard if it is on "your" side..I would talk to the one that seems more understanding as well as maybe start documenting everything that is going on so if you do move you have a record of them being intrusive. As well as it may save you during the time when it comes to get your deposit back..

The first thing I would do is to talk to the owner and about what is stressing you out and just be upfront and honest with him. if that doesn't work I would get the lease and read over very thoroughly and then have a lawyer look at it. If it says that the landlord will be responsible for that part of the property I would withhold rent by putting it in an escrow account and taking him to court. or before going to court get out of the lease and find something else. I hope this helps you out

Contact Realtors Association, Dpt of Business Regulations. State Attorney's office, Police, or move out.

I say start looking for another place to live. Consider buying instead of renting and put up with it for the lease term.

If your landlord is like my husband and me, we work all day & can't get to any repairs or work that needs to be done until after 5:00. Be thankful they are cleaning it up. Most landlords I know wouldn't bother. You may want to ask them when they think the work will be completed. And then be patient.

Have you even bothered talking to them about their awful timing?

Talk to them, see if you can set up in writing a time for them to be out by.

Double check your lease for anything you could bring up to them that they are not complying with.
