Have a blast! I miss those days. I loved camp. Make a list of everything you think you'll need and check it off as you pack. If it's in the mountains (my camp was), take some pants and long sleeve shirts for early morning and late night. Leave all pieces of technology behind you (i.e. ipod, cell phone, blackberry, you get my point). This is your chance to be with your friends, make new friends, and grow closer to God. Make sure to take a notebook, your Bible, and pens. You may also want to take an address book. I always loved meeting new people from other places and keeping in touch with them. You will want to exchange email addresses, phone numbers, and maybe even snail mail addresses. Pack plenty of snack foods (if it is allowed). Take some bottled water, juice boxes, and stuff like that. I will guarantee you that there will be a couple meals that you won't like. You will leave the dining hall still hungry! Take plenty of clothes and shoes for everything. I bet we changed clothes 4 times a day! You'll want some flipflops and you'll want some good shoes for walking/hiking if you do that sort of thing. I'm not sure how old you are, but if you are a teenager (in high school), don't fall head over heels in love with some guy that you may never see again! Been there done that! Email me if you have any specific questions. Also, I'd love to hear more about your camp. You can find the camp that I went to at oaksretreat.com. My has it changed since I went there!

How great!

I had the best time at camp! My suggestions are,

1. take your bible and a pad and pencil
2 take bug repellent
3 get to know kids from other churches/be friendly
4 check your sleeping bag for frogs every night
5 camp crushes do not last so don't do anything dumb
6 be open to adventure
7 get into the spirit of fun
8 take girlie necessities
9 the food is usually gross but you need to eat
10 HAVE FUN!

If everyone around you starts "speaking in tongues" or having convolutions

Or if they have you start chanting political slogans or telling you that your part of some army.

run away.

If that dose not happen, then have fun and enjoy yourself.
