Sing the ABC song, teach her numbers and colors. Read to her a lot, that's the best thing. Talk about weather and animals, sing together, finger paint, and dance.

The great thing about early learning is that it's all fun and games and it's great for your relationship with her too.

Parents have many jobs; one of the is the education of their child preparing them for kindergarten. You need to work with her. Go to Toys R Us and buy flash cards; alphabet letters, numbers, shapes and colors. Kids love these - my grand daughters had tons of fun with them.
After she masters these cards then go to your local library and check out some books for her (they normally will have someone there who can guide you to the books for her age level). Read to her and teach her to read the easy words first and then go to some of the harder words. Make sure you also work with her to help her print her own name. Before kindergarten; she should also know her complete name, address and telephone number.
You have a lot of work to do - get started!!!
The more she knows, before kindergarten, the easier it will be for her.

My son goes once a week to preschool....then he graduates (if I can get him potty trained) up to 2 days a week. Anyway...read to her, get flash cards with ABC's, 123's and colors! This has help my son with his talking skills greatly. If you can get into a group of other kids....this helps with social skills. Get her into a group like Sunday School or a once a week thing.

Good Luck...with a mommy like you....I am sure she will be a smart girl!

reading to her is probably one of the best things you can do. also give her chances to use things like play dough, building or duplo blocks, and crayons, they help develop the fine motor skills needed for writing and holding a pencil. help her develop social skills like taking turns and sharing by getting her together with other kids her age.

My wife and I starting buying our son educational toys from his 1st year. Instead of stupid toys that he could learn nothing from. It worked out rather well and when he began Kindercare, he was so far ahead of the other children. It helps to sit down and play with these educational toys with him.
