I hear lots of women say that some guys seem "intimidated" by them. It's more "apprehension" than "intimidation". Do you get that? Lots of guys want to approach nice looking women but sometimes don't because they get the feeling that you're automatically misreading their intentions.

So, why do you think they're intimidated and/or apprehensive and what could you do to make things less so?

Women are about confident guys like guys are about pretty girls.

Sure they know that lots of shy guys are actually better guys, and that confidant guys are often jerks and players, like guys know that lots of pretty girls are spoiled twits, and some plain Janes have more to offer.

I've asked before why women won't give a guy a hint that she is interested in a guy, and they wrote back like I was off my rocker, offended that they would be asked to stoop to such a level.

Don't ask why girls won't make the process easier for a guy. Just know the given situation and work with it. That is all you can do.

By getting shot down a few times it takes the sting off the next time. Also don't put off approaching a girl, it just makes it harder, and the girl starts getting the feeling you are not confidant. Projecting fake confidence is better than showing real apprehension.
