You hair must be completely dry. It's strongly recommended that you don't wash your hair for at least two days because the natural oils in your scalp help the color last longer and look more vibrant. If you can't wait then I would say blow dry your hair. If you leave it damn it won't get all of the color and the color will not look the way it's supposed to. Good Luck!

Yes, be sure the hair is dry from scalp to ends. Do not over dry. If it is not dry or only dry in some places and not others the color will absorb unevenly and you will not have an even color job.

If it's a permanent color it is better to be dry the water can hinder the processing because it dilutes the peroxide in it. If it's a semi-perm you can use it on wet hair, it will also help if you are applying all over because then your hair is less porous.

your hair actually should not be freshly washed. you should always dye "dirty" hair (not like days and days old unwashed but just not washed within the last 24 hours) and unless directed on the box to wet hair it should always be dry. also you should not wash your hair for 24 hours after dying it to help the color stay in better.

It actually doesn't matter. People prefer dry so they can easily seperate hair and tell which part is wet. Color is color it will dye your hair.

your hair is supposed to be damp (usually)
every hair dye is different
in the first step it should tell you to wet it or apply the dye dry......clarol i think is unwashed damp hair

*****never wash your hair right before dying it EVER, it will become patchy
