Absolutely, the departure of your friend gave you some anxiety and worries about the safety on your own (including your family). However
home was fire = insecurity
kids kept changing clothes = looking for changes
You may also be looking for changes for some insecurity you may feel you are in. Projecting fire in the house often means that you are in lack of protection of security. In your case, because of the death of your friend, that lurks into your subconscious mind. Your sense of insecurity shows afterward. In your life, the first thing you thought about your family, your kids to be exact. That shows some anxiety and because your kids need protection, that reflects on your own which means subconsciously you are looking for security yourself

To dream that a house is on fire, indicates that you need to undergo some transformation. If you have recurring dreams of your family house on fire, then it suggests that you are still not ready for the change or that you are fighting against the change. Alternatively, it highlights passion and the love of those around you.
To dream that you are constantly changing your clothes, represents the need for change and your need to fit into a new situation or role. You need to establish a new self-image.
Maybe with the realization of how easily you can lose somebody you want to change and take your time with absorbing life now with those you love.

Just relax. Dreams used to freak me out. Especially when I started having the same ones over and over. But it sounds like from your dream, your just a calm and collective person, like if something happens, you keep it together and dont rush. I would be cautious, but dont live in fear that something might catch fire. Maybe the day before your dream, you heard news about a fire or you were thinking about it, thats when I usually dream crazy things, or even when Im on sleeping meds. Just be calm and enjoy life!
Good Luck!

I imagine that your dream mean that you feel you are wasting precious time. The fact that you were all taking your time doing trivial things instead of doing what you should be, indicates the wasting precious time. The fire trapping you would seem to indicate death, especially as it came straight after your friends funeral.

Yes, God is warning you that there is circumstances in your household which are bringing judgement on you, but instead of making haste to quickly escape the situation you are taking your time and procrastinating. If you wait too long to address some situations in your household, when you finally do try to get out of some situations it will have a fiery outcome. Not literally fire, but bad.

I think its reflective of you're inner turmoil. You're obviously having difficulty and can't or don't know how to move on from this problem . The good news is that your children seen unaffected by this. My guess is that you try to be tough during waking hours and not deal with your problems but they fester out anyways while you sleep. Its okay to admit you have troubles and talk to people about them. Best of luck- I hope you rest easier!

Your worried and stressed out about your family.
Completely normal.
Dreaming (but not acting on it) about trying to save loved ones that ignore your advice is healthy.
This happens when something makes you think about death, and how random it is.
But you need to de-stress, it can get out of hand if you dwell on it.
Good luck, and my commiserations on your friend's death.

in your life is something going on around you that you aren't paying attention too? Sounds like you are just carring on and ignoring a situation, sound like to me you better get control of that situation instead of ignoring it.
