I agree about the balloons. I love the idea, but I would also change the color ofthe stones to pink and light blue. Maybe put them on a piece of mirror (I found mine at home depot for fairly cheap or you can go to a craft store) and add little tea lights on top ofthe mirror and around the champagne glasses. this will create a very nice effect with soft lighting. I'm thinking the pictures will look better with the candles and no balloon strings in the way.
Good luck! Let us know what you decide to do!!

It's very cute... but I would skip the balloons. As a guest balloons floating in my face and blocking my view of the reception would be very annoying.
Maybe pink and blue candies in the champagne flutes? To support your color scheme. Also, maybe add a bit of silver to the whole color pallette, to add a bit of elegance and make it look less like a baby shower.

I think balloons will completely get in the way at the reception, especially in the photographs.
I bought glass bowls ($5), black decorating stones ($2) and red pillar candles ($2) and then sprinkled silk rose petals on the stones for my centerpieces, then I sent the centerpieces home with someone at each table.
If you stick with your original idea, you should tie in your colors somewhere.
Congratulations!

Cute. Very suitable for a casual/informal, daytime wedding.
However it doesn't suit if this is a formal evening wedding. So we'd need to know more about the actual wedding. Sounds fine though. As long as you are careful and don't do too many balloons--then it comes across as a childs birthday party.

I Iike your idea but here's something else you might look into using little heart vases instead of the champagne glasses. You could even decorate the outside of the vases with pink and blue glitter.

I like it, simple but elegant.
How about tying the balloons to a weight and setting it in the flute with the stones. Then you wont have balloons carrying to one side only and the piece will look more unified. Look:

I think you should do Pink and light blue colored decorating stones in the champagne flutes. I think that would be beautiful.

Personally I would skip the balloons - balloons do not say elegant to me. flutes and white tablecloths yes, how about the clear stones and a single flower stem? Balloons seem kind of childlike etc.
