Middle school does look better as Middleschool

Its not a matter of proper or improper use of the English language its purely about aesthetics.

First of all, I don't agree that it looks better.

Secondly, if you did that, you'd also have to change the others to Elementaryschool and Middleschool or Juniorhighschool. That's not only odd, it's not proper use of the English language, as the previous answerer clarified.

no, because the first word is an adjectove which describes the following noun. you wouldn't change personal computer to personalcomputer or plastic cup to plasticcup.
