Okay. After checking my BMR and adding in my time at the gym, Im burning approx. 22,400 calories every seven days. Well, with my 1200 cal. a day diet (with an extra 1000 cal./wk. added just-in-case), Im consuming 9400 calories each week. So, technically, I should be losing around 3lbs. each week right? Im not even losing one pound ea. week. Any thoughts??

I've been doing this for nine weeks and only lost seven pounds.

if you are building muscle it weighs more then fat what you should do is also take measurement of waist hips arms and thighs this will help you see if you are loosing inches instead of weight which is the actual goal you want to look better so inches are the easiest way to tell unless of course you are bulking up.
then that would not be accurate

Well for one 1200 calories a day while working out is pretty low to be taking. If you just started the reason you arent seeing weight loss is that when you dont give your body the amount of food it needs the body will "fight back" and will store whatever calories it can straight into fat. Also, low calories doesnt always equaol healthy foods. I would recommend adding some calories by eating things high in protein, maybe even throw in a protein shake for before and after work outs. That is an easy 500 calories and it's not bad for you.

You're probably gaining muscle weight (since you go to the gym). Most likely you are losing fat weight, but gaining some muscle weight. Muscle will definitely help you burn even more calories and boost metabolism. Keep up what you're doing and you'll see the results when you look in the mirror (not when you step on the scale). Give yourself a couple more weeks. Good luck.

7 pounds in 9 weeks is reasonable weight loss.

I'm assuming you're a girl, so normal calorie requirements minus workouts are likely in the 2000 calorie area. That means you're counting something like 1200 per day for your workouts. You didn't mention WHAT you're doing, but it would have to be something pretty substantial, like a couple hours of running at a decent speed. My guess is you're being a little over-generous estimating what your workouts are doing for you.

How did you calculate BMR? This could be a critical factor.
