My friend is in dire need of weight loss, she doesn't have much energy and can't afford to buy weight loss products, like gnc, or trima spa, etc. She won't see a Doctor no matter how many times I bug her. She can't exercise in her apartment cause she lives on the second floor, so she don't want to make any noise. No treadmill or exercise bike. She eat's ok, salad twice a day and dinner she just pigs out. And always eating snacks. I don't know what to do to help her, I've tried almost every outdoor and indoor exercise. Biking, walking, situps etc. She has problems getting off the floor, she's a big girl. I would like to honestly help her cause I am her only friend really, I tried to get her in exercise classes but she's just a big girl and she's self conscience so she won't do it. I just want to help her, I know hard work lie's ahead but I need simple easy non stressing exercise's and easy workout plans any help is surley appericated, in acheiving her weight loss.

Sounds like maybe if you do fun thing that require working out like walks on the beach,festivals,swimming these should help.Also try some of these quick diet tips.
I once weighed 327lbs and I had gastric bypass. the thigs that I learned while in recovery from the surgery would be beneficial to anyone trying to loose weight. I wish I had known about them BEFORE the surgery!!

1) Eat more protein (meats, beans, soy products or soy fortfied drinks)
2)Eat less carbs (bread, pasta, potatoes,corn)
3) Drink at least 12 glasses of water a day (this will flush the food through your system faster and help you digest food quicker)
4)Drink hot liquids with your meals because hot grease doesnt solidify as quickly and you can pass it faster
5)put fork down between bites and chew slowly(helps digestion; food that is chewed thouroughly is sent throught the body quicker)
6) Increase calcium intake (calcium chewables VIACTIVE) calcium speeds weight loss
7) B12 is important that it will help you feel more awake and alive and give you natural energy without speding up your heart.

Sounds like she physically can't exercise because she is too big so let's start with the diet. I follow the south beach eating plan and have lost 38 lbs so far. Get the book and have her read it, or read it together so you both understand how food affects her body. I still lost weight without exercise, although slower than I would have if I had exercised right from the beginning. I think once she sees the eating plan working and starts to lose weight, that will motivate her to keep going and to start moving. Good Luck, you sound like a good friend.

One of the easiest and least expensive way to start losing weight is walking. Start off slow maybe 15 minutes a day or less even and gradually work your way up to at least 30 to an hour a day. It doesn't cost a thing and there is always somewhere to walk. Good luck to your friend.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
