today I was in the post office
I was walk to the door and I see black man
come to the post office so I hold the door for him
and what he did?

he give me dirty look and he change direction
to the second door of the post office

I was try to be nice and courteous
and look what I got...

now next time I see a black I should hold the door for him or her
with the risk to feel like an idiot?

ARE YOU SURE he was BLACK!? A lot of LATINOS, PEEPS FROM INDIA, PEEPS FROM CUBA and EVEN ITALIANS look BLACK. I think, if he was a MEXICAN, HE might have had a bad experience with some BASHER; with someone who was ANTI-IMMIGRANT, anti AMNESTY.

It is possible that you caught him off guard... being so nice and he reacted before it registered that you were being nice. WE could speculate ANYTHING, but the main

WHEN I READ THIS, IMMEDIATELY I COULD SEE IN MY THIRD EYE, A PERSON WHO WAS UNHAPPY, not just about BLACKS stealing from him, but ABOUT SO MANY OTHER THINGS TOO. You are not alone out there and what has happened. Our government and group leaders promote Racism. It keeps them from dealing with and solving real problems. It also makes for good press.
On the good side you and I are treated as a individual, independed thinkers they on the other hand are treated as group or packs thinking and action the same way and pandered to as a group or pack. Sad.

To become a racist of situations like this is stupid. First of all, EVERY race has stereotypes, but there are lots of people that are the exception to these sterotypes.

So if a Black man did it to you, it doesn't mean all blacks will do it to you. Would you have thought the same about a white man if he did it to you? You can't nail it down to a race when someone does it to you from that race.

I think you are a racist, but do not realize it.

Black people are not the only ones who will give you dirty looks, you will get dirty looks from all races...that particular man may have been having a bad day..you never know why people do the things they do, but to have it in your head that he did it because of a race issue is exactly why we are still fighting racism today! It not only shows how immature one is but also how one cant accept another race because of their skin color. Why cant we get to know someone before judging them?
