Turn the other cheek.
(Matthew 5:39) Do not resist him that is wicked; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other also to him
Incidentally, a common misconception is that Jehovah's Witnesses go from door-to-door because they feel it is their duty to "recruit" a householder, or get him to "convert". In fact, Jehovah's Witnesses would go from door-to-door even if there were no hope that anyone would change their religion, or even if no one would listen to them!
That is because Jesus Christ specifically assigned the house-to-house ministry to the Christian congregation, with no regard for specific results.
(Luke 10:1,2) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos in advance of him into every city and place to which he himself was going to come. 2 Then he began to say to them: “The harvest, indeed, is great, but the workers are few. Therefore beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.
Jehovah's Witnesses are trained to direct attention to the bible, and move on when their message is unwanted. Since each congregation in the United States tries to call at every home in its territory at least twice each year, there is strong motivation for them to move on where little interest is shown. Also, the Scriptures help the Witnesses to expect little interest from most:
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching ...and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

There are LOTS of very rude people on Yahoo answers. I've noticed that from the very beginning. It has to do with anonymity online. They feel like they're invisible so they can say/do whatever they want online.
You can probably report them but really, they are just being jerks who are saying it because they have nothing better to do that insult people all day long. And your question probably indirectly threatened them in some way... maybe the person was a Jehovah's Witness or they thought you were insulting all Christians that witness or something like that.
Try to ignore the idiots on here. I do my best to!

Wrong, I am certainly not fat, far from overweight, anything but lazy, and not to crazy about pizza.
The garbage is the guy with a hand full of literature. If he had any sense at all he would know that those who are looking for religious guidence, know where the churches are.

Ignore the low life, I posted twice a post about "the result of a child from a Sunni and a Shia" and every time some lowlife is reporting it as a violation and each time yahoo censors it, I EMail 3 times to yahoo asking for an explantion, but so far nothing. It seems they only delete things which might upset a muslim but anything else is OK, seems it one rule for them and a different one for everyone else.

You have New Yorkers,Texans,& Californians. New Yorkers have the tendency to be rude but a smart *** at the same time. Texans have the tendency to relate to your questions and give you a positive feedback on questions. While Californians have no patience to look at the big picture and flip you the bird and curse at you. We are a diverse country with different opinions and nothing but OPINIONS!! Don't take it seriously and read what YOU want to read and bypass the 2 point stupid answers. We're all different. Just be the bigger person and go on with life. Only MY opinion though!

Consider the source. Most people on here are genuine and helpful, but as for the others that just want to be funny and hateful.... blow them off.
You can report them as "offensive language", and they may get a notice, but that's about it.
I think we've all gotten unwarrented responses such as this, so don't feel like it was anything personal.

I just cry. I just lay down and cry for a few seconds, minutes, hours, days. And after that I begin to pick up the pieces and get on with my life.
But seriously, some of those Jehova's Witnesses can give the rudest answers. Once I asked what we could do to make the world a better place. A Jehova's Witness answered that I could kill myself. Well, I cried for days, but after that I learned simply to ignore Jehova's Witnesses. Unless it was one of them who was delivering my pizza.

Turn the other cheek. Whoever responded to you that way was trying to evoke a reaction from you, probably because that person has little better to do and only feels powerful when belittling others.

Sadly, many people are very harsh in this area of Yahoo! Answers, and do not treat serious questions with the dignity and respect they deserve.
The only thing you can really do is thumbs-down them or just ignore them.

Just ignore it, he's obviously bitter because nobody ever opens the door for him when he's going around begging for new members.
