Depends on how much you eat. A calorie of chocolate is the same amount of energy as a calorie from a carrot. There are just a lot more in chocolate. It's really all relative. If you ate giant chocolate bunny for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you would be obese (and dead?). If you ate one chocolate bar a day and nothing else, you would lose weight because you would ultimately burn more calories than that chocolate bar contained. These are both extreme examples but they illustrate my point.

Um, no. Chocolate in small amounts can be good for you, but it's all the milk, cream and sugar in chocolate that add to your waistline, or your hips, or your thighs...you get the idea. A couple of pieces of dark chocolate every day will actually give you certain health benefits, but eating candy bars (even 100% chocolate candy bars) is not good for you to do on a regular basis. Every once in a while is fine, every day isn't.

not a lot of it. In small amounts chocolate can have great health benefits but i think the best is generally 70% range. Limit to 50g a day

no, dark chocolate does have some antioxidants in it that are heart healthy, but you still only eat any chocolate in small amounts as a treat. All chocolates are high in fat and sugar.
