Am I the only one who thinks this takes some of the sting out of End Times predictions, not to mention that Mayan one?

It is you who have convinced me we are in the last days...

2 Peter 3
...scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”

Remember, the completion of all things is only one lifetime away. When you die, you are no longer tied to the physical, you enter the spiritual world of timelessness. All time will be completed in an instant and within a millisecond the rapture of the church has taken place, the seven year tribulation has transpired and Christ's second coming has already saved Israel from her enemies. Now you stand before the judgment seat having to give an account for your scoffing at the only salvation you refused that was offered freely and at so great a cost.

Sorry dude but the world is to end once. The Mayans were not Christians. They didn't have any idea of Christ before the missionaries came

true, I sometimes wonder why they thought the world would end. because all the prophecy hadn't come true yet.

however if you read the bible now and take a good look at the world, there would be more of a reason to think the world was close to end of times in this present day of age.

Don't fool yourself! You'll be stung in the end, if you KEEP thinking' like this....only ignorant people DON'T recognize the truth and to boast about your ignorance is doubly wrong...

It's not too late to come to Christ...After all you were created in HIS image.....It's a shame you are not being taught this at home...I hope the Lord will put someone in your path to show you the way to eternal life thru the one and only true GOD, JESUS CHRIST!

God destroyed life on earth in the days of Noah as a consequence of man's refusal to obey Him , but God will never destroy the planet..it is written:

Ecclesiastes 1:4 One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.
