I am personally against abortion but if it were my life vs. that of our unborn child, I would hope my husband would choose me unless it had the better chance of a normal life. Babies are by no means disposable but it would be easier to create a new life than a new me to have more babies, ya know? Good question and it's interesting to see the responses!

I'm agianst abortion, but of course if the mother is going to die then the abortion has to be performed, or else they'll both die. However these cases are very very rare. In most cases when health issues come up they try and get the mom as far along as possible, at least to 24 weeks, and then do a C-section.

Abortion draws extreme views - your answer included!!!

There are cases where abortion is sensible and a vital medical option.

There should be no case for abortion on demand as a method of birth control.

In between those two options is a huge grey area.

Whilst there may be religious arguments those should be kept to the followers and believers in that religion and not forced on others.

I am against abortion in most situations, however if I was forced to choose between the life of a person who is already born (the mother) and the life that is still in prenatal (in utero), I would choose the life of the person already born assuming that they were definitely going to die otherwise.

no because that's the love of you're life and you can always adopt a child and well abortion it depends on the situation if it puts the mother's life at risk i see no other choice or even the babies life if hes not going to have a normal life and instead has a life of sufering i would rather not have a baby

i dont like abortions, but i still had one, anyway if that is what happens to your wife to get the baby, wouldn't you be aware that both of them could die, its happened b4 it will sure again, wouldn't you feel bad if that happened u wanted the baby so much and the mother was willing to give her life up, but what if at birth both died, it'll be heart broken. if i was that woman, not to be nasty to anyone but ill have the abortion and adopted, i know it wont be your own but at least everyone will be safe.

Everything to do with abortion is the individual's decision, it has nothing to do with me.

I don't see much going on with abortions. Everywhere I look I see pregnant women, pregnant girls, everyone having babies right and left, whether they can provide for them or not. Everyone encourages people to have babies constantly. I can't see who is having an abortion.

no because you know and love you wife and you havent met the baby yet if you loose your wife who would be there to support you and love you besides the baby and how do you know that the baby wouldn't have complications just as your wife did or does?????? just something to think about

i am very much against abortion. it's murder since you will take a life away from a very innocent baby and most af all, it's against God's law.

a child is the greatest gift a woman could ever give to her husband.

Abortion is a crime, that's how I feel about abortion, and as for the wife part... I think that in that case you let God decide, God brought us here so he's the one who ultimately decides who lives and dies....
