Nasal cancer is relatively rare, affecting only about 1000 persons a year in the US. One of the warning signs of nasal cancer are swollen lymph nodes on the neck or back of the head. Fatigue is also a warning flag.
It could be from a benign cyst to a lot of different conditions (allergies, infections, skin problems). The best he can do is go to a specialist and have it diagnosed.

Try not too worry too much, the chances are this is a cyst or a polyp, neither of which are too serious and are easily treatable.
A visit to the doctor should put your mind at rest, and start the ball rolling of treatment.
Good luck

I agree, it's probably a cyst, a big zit forming deep, or something else harmless, even a callous from glasses or an ingrown hair.
If you're worried, see a doctor.

It may just be an abnormal growth due to calcium deposits, etc. Have a doctor check it out. It will be better than worrying too much.
