Sounds like a pinched nerve with other complications. I would strongly suggest acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Acupuncture and acupressure are the most effective modalities for treating pain and related conditions. You can find a certified acupuncturist in your local area by going to the NCCAOM website - http://www.nccaom.org/find.htm
Go to the bottom of the page to locate practitioners.

Sounds like muscle trauma causing a pinched nerve. There are nerves that run all the way down your arm. You need to treat the muscle to relieve the nerve pain. Alternate heat and ice and also take an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofin every six hours. I recommend 600-800 milligrams every dose for two days. No more though. If after three days, you still have no relief, see your doctor. Good luck!

Pinched nerve. The doctor will probably prescribe medication, rest and possibly some exercise or massage.

Generally this isn't too serious, possibly a trapped nerve or a muscle in spasm.
Some physio might be in order, but yes, best to see a medic.

Good luck
Hope you get it sorted soon
