Not really if he is hunting the mouse rather than the other cat. Might even be teaching the other kitten how to hunt in the process just like lion cubs do. Sounds more like community communication than threat.

Not unless the mouse-toy is the thing actually growling. If that is the case then I suggest you get rid if the cats and get a bunch of the mouse-toys and see if you can train them to play that way with kittens.

Thats just telling the others that thats his catch.the best thing to do is get more toys so the others have them to play with also.cat will do that it's just a warning to the others It's mine.hit wal mart and on the sides of the check out counters they sell cat and dog toys for 88 cents pick up some more toys.

Absolutely not. I have two cats. One of them sits at the window. When he sees a bird, he starts making a low guttural sound like he is growling. The other just sits there, watching the birds and doesn't say a thing. :-)))

no they are just showing thier inner wild cats-ness
dont worry its normal
they are just playing
only be worried if they cause serious injuries to eachother
kittens can be very aggressive while playing
but dont get too worried
