Ok...how did he get her ring? The best man holds the wedding ring until the ceremony--not the engagement ring. So why did she give him her ring to sell?

It sounds like he stole the ring and sold it. If so, yes he should be charged with the crime and made to pay for it. However, he got the ring from her somehow. If she gave him the ring to sell, in exchange for accessories for HER car--then it sounds like she was in on it. She sold the ring you gave her--which she can do. Rude and tacky, but her right.

He didn't benefit in any way from the first one so I doubt he would be responsible for buying a new one. After all, she is the one with the car and the profits of the ring in the car. So its no different than if she had sold the ring.

Why are you more concerned about that than the concern with the fact that your wife sold the symbol of your love b/c it didn't mean anything to her? And she was cheating on you the whole time? I mean clearly I guess you are ok with the cheating since everyone seems to know before the wedding...but you shouldn't expect her to value the symbol of a unity she doesn't value.

So are you saying that at the wedding he gave you a different ring to put on your wifes finger? What did he do with the original ring? When did you give him the ring? I think if you bought the ring and gave it to him to hang onto until the wedding and he exchanged rings then definately he needs to atleast pay for it. Get your receipt out, charge him with theft if you have to. I know it may be hard cause he is your cousin but he didn't only wrong you but your wife as well. Stand up for what is rightfully yours. Good luck to you and your wife.....

Ummm so you are marrying a girl who was sleeping with your best man?!?

Ok, to each their own, but that man owes you some money for taking the ring in the first place. It wasn't his to keep. With that money go out and buy a new ring for your future wife.

OH yeah and find a new best man, really! Oy what a situation.

He owes you the money for that ring. He had no right to sell the ring, it should have been given back to you.

Better question is why she is still your fiancee?

Why on earth did you marry her anyways?
Sounds like them two will always be messing around w/ each other and you'll put up with it???
I would get out now and leave them two be.

can't quite follow this.
but i don't think you ought to involve him any longer at all.
forget about the ring.
keep him out of your relationship with your wife.
you and her are a couple, not a threesome with him.
