Disadvantages of Immigration:
• Greater poverty Because illegal immigrants occupy low income employment, their wages are low and they are more affected by downturns in the economy. In comparison to natives, they do not to have health insurance and need to resort to public assistance.
• More educational costs: Illegal immigrant children account for a disproportionate amount of public education costs than do natives due to the greater birth rate for Hispanics. Illegal immigrants have significantly lower educational attainment than do citizens and legal immigrants • Increased danger of terrorism Some argue that the continued ability of illegal immigrants to enter the country increases the threat of domestic terrorism. In reality, the threat is minimal. The known dangers associated with terrorism involve Islamic individuals and even citizens of the United States, ie. hate groups (KKK, White Supremist Groups, and individuals ie Timothy McVeigh etc.

You forgot to mention the millions of illegal immigrants that bring money to this country that own and run businesses that pay taxes and employ Americans.

Also the 12-13 million forced into illegal status that have a legal right to be here through birth hereditary right etc

To much type casting not all illegals are poor Mexicans

25 year wait for a legal right applicant is inhumane read the report link below.

Well first, downturns in economy have in FACT been shown to be worse on higher income people. They have more debt.Health insurance is a big concern for many middle class. In a recent study they found over 85% of middle class Americans are either under insured or have no insurance. As with the aging baby boomers. So who pays for their medical expenses?I will give that illegal immigrants don't cause terrorism. However we do need to know who is coming and going in our country. So we need a National Id system for the illegals already here so we can keep track.

I suppose the question is about the negative points of allowing Millions of Illegal people, mostly Mexican, poor, into America.I agree with most of your negatives. The terror point I can disagree with, in part.Although they are not plotting like some extremist groups, some do join street gangs that are terrorizing entire regions of the U.S.These street gangs are openly brutal, and like the Mafia of old, getting protection money from store owners, and selling drugs. The streets of inner City's are horrible enough without adding to the horror with young, impressionable, violent, illegals. The toll of the Terror that these gangs do is under reported. The poor are held victim by the poor,as the average, middle class, Joe public, goes on with his life. The threat within America, going on in our Ghettos, is far worse than many know.I do believe if we continue to allow this influx of illegals to continue, the gangs and crime will soon spill over into every aspect of our Utopian Vision of "hard working cheap labor",and it will be one big riotous event.

Where are the advantages. You forgot to list them. So I will for you.

1) Workers to fill jobs that are vacant. Too many jobs are not being filled because American workers do not want to do them.
2) More tax payers. More money from public works.
3) New culture introduced.
4) Hopefully bring fresh outlook on American work force. The American labor work ethic is outdated. Businesses need to compete on a global scale. Immigrant workers are more accommodating and willing to work longer
