Your BP is a touch high, but it's still well within the "safe" range. 140/90 is borderline high, 150/100 is high, and 160/110 is danger zone. The bottom number (diastolic BP) is the more important number. The ideal range for that number is between 70 and 80, so as you can see, you're right where you want to be. Your top number (systolic BP) is a little on the high side, but that's probably directly linked to your pregnancy. So unless your doctor says anything about getting those numbers down, don't sweat it.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

If you look good and eat healthy, i would be worried, if you are fat and eat crap all day, then it should be expected that your bp is high, 120/80 is seen now as the beginning of high blood pressure it should be about 110/70 so that should be your goal

Based on the fact that you HAD been higher, then yes, it would be good.
My normal bp was like, 105/60 up to 115/70.... a few days before my scheduled induction it was 145/95, and the nurse was like, "oh, blood pressure is good." But then she told me the number, and I told her that WASNT good for me. So she looked at my chart and once she realized that was much higher than my normal, she called my doc, who put me on bed rest for the last few days. It's all relative to what's normal for you. If your doc is happy, thats a good sign.

I'm not too familiar with blood pressure for pregnancies, but those sound normal to me. If your doctor is okay with it, you can probably rest in peace. If you're really worried, go see a different doctor and get another opinion.
